Each month, the GOTY of the month club democratically elects the Game of Year of the Month
Why was the GOTY of the Month Club founded?
GOTY of the Month Club was founded to address one of the biggest issues in gaming awards -- having to wait a whole year to find out what the GOTY is.
What does it take to be a Juror?
In order to become a certified GOTY of the month juror, you must:
1. Self Identify as a game developer
2. Be nominated by a current juror
3. Consent and agree to give your truly held belief about the GOTY of the month, regardless of the consequences
4.Consent and agree to live your life in accordance with the GOTY of the month code of conduct.

Each juror of the GOTY of the month club shall solemnly swear to:
Eat GOTY
Play GOTY
Love GOTY
What is the process to elect the GOTY of the Month?
Each month jurors submit two pieces of information:
1. their current GOTY of the month
2. and their current favorite game to play.
GOTY of the month is awarded to the title receiving the highest total of votes each month.
The top 5 favorite games to play will receive recognition.
GOTY of the month will be announced on the first of each month.
If a title wins 5 consecutive GOTYs of the month, it will be retired from GOTY of the month consideration.
Can a Juror vote for a game they have never played?
Yes. it is activly encouraged. A GOTY is a GOTY; if you know you know.
